Shipping Policy
Standard Packaging
Packages are shipped discreetly in plain UPS or Fed-Ex packages. Packages will have the return address listed as "Everwinter Trading Company", or some abbreviation thereof.
Parcel Handling Fees for Shipping
Shipping and handling fees are necessary to get the product to you, the customer. The “handling” portion of that charge is outlined below (note: the shipping fee you see at checkout already includes this fee). This charge accounts for warehousing and sourcing the product - everyone charges for this, most shops just don't tell you about it.
· ALL Orders have a $3.00 handling fee added to their total. This amount will already be included in the shipping & handling fee outlined on your order page.
In Stock and Back Ordered Product
· If all of the products on your order are in stock, we will immediately fulfill the order.
· Any orders that are only partially in stock will be held until 100% of the order is filled.
Requests to ship partial orders must be communicated on your order. There's a place for extra instructions on the order form. Just mention it there if you want us to ship partial orders.
If all of the items on your order are not in stock for some reason and there are no explicit instructions from you to to ship partial orders, we will contact you via email to see if you would like us to ship a partial order.
In the event of a partial order shipment, partial refunds can of course be given.
Unavailable Product
We try to keep inventory counts displayed on our site as accurate as possible. Every now and again, however, you may place an order for an item that is actually out of stock. This is most likely to happen with products that display low inventory count (less than 10).
In the event that a product is unavailable on your order, we reserve the right to cancel the order for the affected product(s) or cancel the entire order. Orders will be shipped as soon as the unavailable items come into stock and the order is 100% complete (unless otherwise instructed by you - see above).
Deadlines for Shipments
We will make every reasonable attempt to ship all orders within one business day of receipt. Orders received before 12:00 noon PST will most likely be shipped the same day.
Orders received after 12:00 PST will be shipped the following business day. For orders received on Friday, every attempt will be made to ship orders by close of business Friday. Generally, no shipments occur on weekends or holidays.
Shipping Carriers
Generally, our freight carriers are UPS &Fed-Ex. Any order placed will ship via UPS Ground by default (normally the least expensive and slowest method) unless specified differently at the time of ordering. All orders shipping to a P.O. Box or APO/FPO address can only be shipped via US Mail (Priority or Surface), as only the US Postal Service will deliver to PO boxes.
Depending on which warehouse your products are shipping out of, some carriers may not be available. We reserve the right to substitute a different carrier with comparable shipping costs & times.
Product Origination
Products we offer to you may be stored in various warehouses throughout the country. It is possible that your order will arrive in multiple packages, if your order is being sourced from different warehouses. You only ever pay one shipping charge and all packages are sent using the same parameters (i.e. shipping speed and carrier used).
All this means to you, practically speaking, is that on the day your order arrives you may get more than one box. All of your items should, in most cases, arrive on the same day.
Notification & Tracking
Once your order ships, we will send you an email with all of the tracking information for your order. This will allow you to follow your package's progress as it makes its way to you. You may also view your order status after logging into your account.
